I founded Full Spectrum Psychiatry to improve the quality and continuity of mental health treatment for individuals with developmental disorders. Historically seen as childhood disorders, ADHD and Autism are increasingly understood to persist throughout adulthood. Many psychiatrists specializing in developmental disorders continue to focus exclusively on children. At the same time, a large portion of adult psychiatrists lack specialized training or feel uncomfortable treating developmental disorders. This often means that young adults who “age out” of the child system are, at best, forced to change providers or, at worst, lose access to necessary medications and therapies.

At Full Spectrum Psychiatry, we eliminate this unnecessary and potentially harmful transition of care. We work to meet the unique mental health needs of our patients across development, from childhood into late adulthood. This continuity allows us to provide needed stability and support for our patients during life transitions such as graduating school, moving away from home, and/or attending secondary schooling.

In addition to providing excellent clinical care, I strive to advance the understanding and acceptance of individuals with developmental disorders. Communication between various communities (e.g. scientists, clinicians, patients, families) is essential to the dissemination of knowledge. My research and medical training combined with my personal experience with developmental disorders affords me the opportunity to view relevant topics from several perspectives. I work to bridge communication gaps between communities, synthesizing the knowledge and sharing it with others through publication and consultation.
